Introduction – Integrating Art into Living Spaces

Noon Art Boutique Hotel Apartments commissioned Sun Studio to provide bespoke decorative glass solutions for their high-end units in Al Barsha. Given the hotel’s foundational concept where the entire space is inspired by and dedicated to Arabic contemporary art the client required durable, aesthetic finishes for the kitchens and bathrooms that would function as unique art installations while meeting strict hygiene and long-term durability standards inherent to luxury hotel apartments.

THE CHALLENGE

The Noon Art Boutique Hotel needed decorative glass surfaces that could bring their contemporary art identity into functional wet areas such as kitchens and bathrooms. The goal was to translate their artistic theme onto glass without losing clarity or impact, while ensuring the panels could withstand heat, moisture, cleaning products and daily use in a hospitality setting. This also required consistent precision across 45 apartments, with each custom-cut panel matching in quality, color and overall aesthetic.

OUR SOLUTION- GRADE GLASS PRINTING

Sun Studio provided a complete custom glass solution for the units, using decorative glass printing engineered for both beauty and resilience. Our solution involved:

  • Artistic Printing: High-resolution UV printing was used to apply bespoke artistic patterns (aligned with the hotel’s art concept) directly onto tempered glass panels.

 

  • Engineered for Wet Areas: The decorative panels were specially treated and manufactured to be used as durable kitchen splashbacks and aesthetically striking, water-resistant bathroom wall claddings.

 

  • Precision Fit: Meticulous measurement and cutting ensured the panels fit perfectly into the cabinetry and wet areas, offering a seamless, grout-free, hygienic finish
